On November 6th, twelve "Gold Rush" versions of John Wall's signature Reebok shoe went on sale exclusively at a Footlocker on 34th Street in New York City, which was the day after the NBA's top pick made his first appearance at Madison Square Garden. The limited edition Reebok Reezig "Gold Rush" Zig Slash shoes were created by Reebok in celebration of Wall's first game in the city that never sleeps. The November 5th match-up versus the Knicks was Wall's second NBA game. In the Wizards 91-112 loss, the wizard of Washington scored 13 points, dished out 7 assists and grabbed 4 boards.The golden shoes are parallels of Wall's signature Zig Slash shoes. Each pair of the "Gold Rush" version were sold in lock boxes numbered to 12, featured additional numbering on the back of each shoe and 22 kt gold lettering (Pair 4/12).
